Apple TV+ is back with yet another romantic dramedy, marking its third venture in the genre this year.
Still Up will tell the story of best friends Lisa and Danny. The official tagline of the show reads: “Bonded by insomnia, best friends Lisa and Danny stay connected to each other late into the night and find their way through a world of wonderfully weird surprises as their relationship deepens.”
On the face of it, Still Up seems inspired by Platonic, another Apple show that was released earlier this year. Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne headlined that show but Still Up stars Craig Roberts and Antonia Thomas as the central pair.

Still Up Season 1 Episode 8 Release Date
Episode 8 of Still Up’s Season 1 will be released on Friday 27th October at 12 am (PT) / 3 am (ET). The seventh episode will be available to watch with subtitles.
Although Apple TV+ has not confirmed the runtime of every episode, we expect them to be in the range of 25-35 minutes, given the genre and how long the first three episodes were.
Episode 8 of Still Up is titled “The Wedding.” It can not be anything good, though. We saw how Veggie was concerned Lisa and he were drifting apart in their relationship and how Danny offered him a kind ear. However the final scene of the episode indicated that Veggie would not go ahead with the planned wedding.

Still Up Season 1 has been commissioned for a total of 8 episodes. So the episode next week will be the final one before Season 1 concludes.
What happened in Episode 7?
Episode 7 of Still Up is once again set in Danny’s apartment and Lisa’s storage space. The former has yet to contact Lisa after the incidents of the hen night. Lisa is concerned due to this radio silence but she doesn’t know the reason behind it…Danny is now seeing Amy! Not just that but she has also adjusted to Danny’s insomniac routine as they set an alarm for spending time together when he is awake.
Veggie wants his demon-like horse toy back for his father, which Lisa has thrown into storage. She goes to fetch it from the place but is distracted by her old things. She leaves more messages for Danny but he does not respond. So she decides to call Adam, who awkwardly catches Danny as he is about to show Amy out.
Amy was already apprehensive of Danny’s closeness with Lisa and this encounter does no favors. Beggie also drops by Danny’s house suspecting she is cheating on him. But Danny offers him sympathetic insight that calms him down and infuses optimism. However, as Veggie is going back, Lisa enters with the cat, whom she thought could find a new home at David’s house (in Danny’s apartment building), as he had just lost one.
