What Happened In Episode 9?
Episode 9 of Only Murders in the Building is set to entertain as the trio gets back to its old ways to solve Ben’s murder. They interview Dickie who tells them about Ben and his secret on Broadway Street. Whenever he used to feel low, Ben used to visit his “five whores.” Dickie also proves that he wasn’t at the Arconia the night Ben was murdered. He was at that place trying to get away from everything. The trio is eager to investigate.Â
It turns out that the apparent prostitutes are seamstresses. Ben was a part of their sewing circle and they were also invited to the opening night. One of them received a distressing voicemail from Ben moments before the curtains were raised. The trio goes over the interviews Williams conducted at the theatre to create a timeline between the time when Ben arrived on set and when he sent the voicemail.Â
They go through the interviews and deduce that someone whose career would be hurt by Ben’s appearance on the show might be behind the murder. Howard pieced the shredded paper, which was a copy of Maxine’s review which wasn’t published. The needle stops at Donna, who had the motive and the opportunity to murder Ben. Will they be able to save Loretta in time and prove her innocence?Â
