Family Guy – Season 22 Episode 6 “Boston Stewie” Recap & Review

Boston Stewie

Meg is making cupcakes that Chris squishes by sitting on them. Stewie is checking out old letters that belong to Lois for fun. One of them from the Fertility Bank of New England suggests Lois donated 10 eggs, and one of them might have resulted in a baby. Stewie is excited about his half-sibling.

Peter informs Meg that her cupcake video is trending on social media. A person in the comments box suggests she should create a FansOnly page for Chris where he sits on a variety of items. Chris agrees to do FansOnly with her.

Stewie puts some DNA technology to use to find his DNA match in Boston. He sets out to find his genius Harvard sibling who is anything but what he expected.

Stewie brings him to Quahog. The Boston Stewie beats Peter for no apparent reason. Impressed and charged by his cunning instincts, Stewie decides to use him to get things done around.

Chris feels bad about doing the sitting thing as he realizes people all over the town are talking about him. He subsequently quits FansOnly. Meg finds Peter as his replacement. But it doesn’t work.

Stewie’s half-sibling wants to be adopted by a nice family but he is afraid nobody would like to adopt a wayward kid like him. Stewie decides to help him become normal so he can be adopted. It’s hard, but he is finally adopted by seven women.

Meg and Chris patch things up, and the Griffin family is back to normal, as usual.

The Episode Review

Many are going to like this episode thanks to the double-whammy of Stewie. The additional character brought here serves as the soul of the episode and is fun to watch. However, the Meg-Chris bit lacks strength and fails to support the main plot. Peter’s silly cameo is a relief though.

All in all, it’s a decent episode that may impress more than just Family Guy fans.
