What Happened In Episode 12?

In Delicious In Dungeon Season 1 Episode 12, Marcille tells Laios and the others that she can resurrect Falin from the dead via forbidden/black magic. She asks Laios and the others to gather Falin’s bones and assemble her skeleton. Once they complete that task, Marcille performs the spell and successfully resurrects Falin.

After Falin regroups with her former allies and introduces herself to Senshi, we shift to her and Marcille bathing somewhere. The two discuss the Red Dragon, Namari and Shuro, and Marcille’s dark magic circle. Marcille tells Falin that they shouldn’t worry about that. She feels they should contemplate ways to reach the surface world.

We shift to Laios and Chilchuk conversing about their funds and Marcille’s dark magic antics. After Marcille and Falin regroup with the two, Laios wonders what happened to Senshi. Falin tells Laios that Senshi passed by her and was carrying a cooking pot. Laios realizes Senshi’s about to cook in front of the Red Dragon and flees with the others to stop him.

Fortunately, Falin saves Senshi with defensive magic. Later, our heroes hold a special feast. During this feast, Laios and the others inform Falin about their monster-dish-making and eating shenanigans. Laios properly introduces everyone to Kensuke and promises to get rid of him and his sword when he finds a new one.

At night, Falin visits Laios and notices the injury he got from his battle with the Red Dragon. Laios says he wouldn’t have received the injury if Falin hadn’t done what she did in episode one. The two make up and head to bed. Then, a mysterious figure wanders toward Marcille’s dark magic circle and the Red Dragon’s corpse.

The figure removes its hood in front of both anomalies. The episode closes with a close-up shot of the figure’s face and viewers learn it’s a dark elf.
