English actress and writer, Dolly Wells has directed the BBC adaptation of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. Dolly had co-written and starred in the British comedy show ‘ Doll & Em’. She is also known for writing and directing the comedy-drama, ‘Good Posture’.

Emma Myers plays Pippa Fitz-Amobi, a 17-year-old high school student who decides to look into the murder of Andie Bell and seeks help from the prime accused – Sal Singh’s brother, Ravi Singh. The two try to learn the truth about Sal’s involvement in the alleged death of Andie Bell and uncover the truth about media trials and the shortcomings of the justice system.

Emma Myers is an actress from the USA who is known for her portrayal of Enid Sinclair in the Netflix Original – Wednesday. She is also She is an actress, known for Wednesday (2022), A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (2024) and Family Switch (2023).


Zain Iqbal as Ravi Singh

Zain Iqbal plays Ravi Singh, Sal’s younger brother who is still suffering humiliation in the town of Little Kilton after his brother – Sal’s suicide. Ravi joins Pippa in her quest to undercover the truth behind the disappearance of Andie Bell and to find the truth behind Sal’s death.

Zain Iqbal is a Pakistani actor who was first seen in the 2019 short film – ‘Why ME?’. He is going to make his small screen debut with BBC’s ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’ as well as his big screen debut with the upcoming film – “All Crazy Random”.


India Lillie Davies as Andie Bell

India Lillie Davies plays Andie Bell, an 18-year-old girl who went missing five years ago and was never found. Andie dated Sal Singh, who allegedly confessed to murdering her before dying by suicide.

India Lillie Davies was seen in mini-series like ‘Heart & Strings’ as well as ‘My Very Royal Romance’. She is known for her appearance in shows like ‘Call The Midwife’ and ‘Bridgerton’.


Rahul Pattni as Sal Singh

Sal Singh is played by the Indian actor – Rahul Pattni who made his acting debut with Season 38 of the BBC daily soap – Casualty. He plays Sal Singh in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, an 18-year-old boy who is accused of murdering his girlfriend – Andie Bell before ending his own life.


Carla Woodcock as Becca Bell

Carla Woodcock plays Becca Bell, the younger sister of Andie Bell who is the last person to see Andie alive. Carla is known for her performance in projects like ‘Such Brave Girls’, ‘Outlander’, ‘Tell Me Everything’ and ‘Ackley Bridge’ among others.


Mathew Baynton as Elliot Ward

The English actor, comedian and musician – Mathew Baynton plays Elliot Ward, the school’s English teacher. Elliot is the father of Naomi and Cara Ward as well as a father figure to Cara’s best friend – Pippa. Since Elliot graduated from Oxford, he has been helping Sal with his application to enrol into Oxford before his untimely death. 

Mathew Baynton made his acting debut in 20017 and has made a name for himself with shows like ‘The Split’, ‘Vanity Fair’, and ‘The Wrong Mans’ as well as movies like ‘Wonka’, ‘City Rats’, ‘You Instead’, and ‘Bill’ among others.


Asha Banks as Cara Ward

British actress and singer Asha Banks plays Cara Ward, Pippa’s best friend and the daughter of Elliot Ward. She is the sister of Naomi Ward who she is very close to after the death of their mother – Isabel. 

Asha is known for her work in the short film – ‘Confus[(ion) (ed)]’, the TV Show – ‘Rebel Cheer Squad: A Get Even Series’ as well as the 2022 film – ‘The Magic Flute’ for which she also has musical performance credits.


Yasmin Al-Khudhairi as Naomi Ward

Yasmin Al-Khudhairi plays Naomi Ward, the daughter of Elliot Ward and the sister of Cara Ward. Naomi is also friends with Max Hastings and the best friend of Sal Singh. 

Yasmin is known for her appearance in the 2020 show ‘Killing Eve’ as well as her appearance in the shows ‘Ackley Bridge’, ‘Cobra’ and the 2023 film ‘Rye Lane’. 


Henry Ashton as Max Hastings

The English actor Henry Ashton plays Max Hastings on the show. Max is Naomi and Sal’s friend who also belongs to a wealthy family in the Little Kilton neighbourhood. Max has been secretive about his connection to Andie which makes Pip suspicious of him.

Henry is known for his work in the 2014 show ‘Outlander’ as well as the 2024 Prime Video original ‘My Lady Jane’ which also happens to be an adaptation of a novel of the same name.
